Pamukkale Teknokent Yönetici A.Ş. was the guest of Distance Education Seminars organised by Denizli Provincial Directorate of National Education R&D Unit. In the online meeting, successful entrepreneurship stories and related support programmes of TUBITAK were discussed in order for educators to get ideas in the field of entrepreneurship.
Prof. Dr. İlhan Küçükkaplan, Deputy General Manager of Teknokent Yönetici A.Ş., Officials from the Provincial Directorate of National Education R&D Unit, Teknokent Yönetici A.Ş. Officials and the owners of the companies operating in Teknokent attended the seminar held over the internet within the scope of coronavirus (Covid-19) measures.
In the meeting titled "Every Educator is an Entrepreneur" held within the scope of Distance Education Seminars, the introduction and fields of activity of Pamukkale Teknokent Yönetici A.Ş. were discussed, while the grant support programmes and conditions of TÜBİTAK 1512-Techno-Entrepreneurship Capital Support Programme (BİGG) were discussed.
Speaking at the seminar moderated by Emel Alpinanç, a teacher from the R&D Unit of the Provincial Directorate of National Education, Prof. Dr. İlhan Küçükkaplan underlined that the Technopolis plays an important role in the adaptation of the scientific studies carried out at Pamukkale University to the industry, and emphasised that the Technopolis companies have achieved significant success in the field of R&D and technology, especially in the recent period. Prof. Dr. Küçükkaplan, who introduced the Technopolis in the light of numbers and data, drew attention to the importance of the visits of students and their teachers to Pamukkale Technopolis in order for future generations to meet technology at a much earlier age.
In the seminar, Pamukkale Teknokent Yönetici A.Ş. Entrepreneurship and Incorporation Representative Işıl Baysal Erez talked about the content and application conditions of the TÜBİTAK 1512-Techno-Entrepreneurship Capital Support Programme for the national education community and the entrepreneurship trainings carried out by Pamukkale Teknokent in partnership with Denizli TIM-TEB Initiative House.
In the seminar, M. Serhat Duras, captain of the Hazar Team, who won the first place in Turkey in the High Altitude Rocket Category in the Teknofest-2019 competitions they participated in with the main sponsorship of Pamukkale Teknokent, talked about the competition process and the success they achieved and their 2020 projects.
At the meeting, NCT Academy representative Yasin Demir talked about STEM Education, a new education model created by combining science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields, and how and how education has been affected during the pandemic process. Drawing attention to the fact that approximately 20 million students worldwide, only in our country due to the pandemic, have moved away from the traditional education environment, Demir emphasised the importance of developing strategies and educational methods that can turn the crisis into an opportunity in this process.

Within the scope of the promotional trips organised to Pamukkale Teknokent Yönetici A.Ş. in 2019, approximately 650 students from 24 schools from different levels visited Pamukkale Teknokent.
