THECA, founded in June 2021 by Mechanical Engineer Dr Engin Sarıkaya and Mechanical Engineer Dr Artunç Alptekin at Pamukkale University Technopolis, received an investment of 1 million 225 thousand euros from Mercan Kimya AŞ.

Commenting on the investment, THECA CEO Dr. Engin Sarıkaya said, "With this investment, we have accelerated our efforts to implement our R&D projects, which we attach great importance to in the short, medium and long term. Our goal is to become Europe's largest industrial viol producer. Our new 6000 square metre production factory, which we will commission in September, will be the largest industrial viol facility in Turkey and will serve as an important milestone in achieving our goals. We will continue to work for a sustainable world."
